Hailey played the primary role in successfully launching the new district and school websites. She has devoted significant time to create a website that has been extremely well received in our community, but with other school districts as well. These websites not only met high standards but also set a benchmark for excellence within the educational sector. Hailey's talent in content creation shone through as she produced captivating photos and videos that effectively highlighted special events and various departments within the district. Her work has greatly enhanced the district's online presence and engagement. Hailey's design expertise was evident in the redesign of school and department logos, along with the development of related materials such as letterheads, business cards, and flyers. These materials now convey a unified and professional branding for Douglas County School District. I especially appreciate the efforts Hailey gave to ensure a smooth rollout with district staff. She has an enormous amount of patience, which is needed in her position. Hailey has worked closely with Human Resources to implement innovative strategies and streamlined the job posting process, making it user-friendly and efficient. Hailey’s efforts were evident as DCSD received more applications than we have received in the past. She has a strong sense of analytics and how they can help us target geographical areas in our recruiting efforts. Hailey maintained an active and consistent presence on social media platforms, ensuring that news posts regularly highlighted the district's achievements and events, fostering community engagement and awareness.
Hailey has taken an active role in learning all she can learn about education. Coming from an industry outside public education, I appreciate her desire to know more. Hailey has strong interpersonal skills and she has been extremely well received across the district. I also appreciate that Hailey seeks out opportunities to cover school and district events; always looking for ways to highlight the great things we are doing in DCSD. Hailey has also demonstrated strong communication skills. She has no problem asking questions when she needs more information, and she has been quick to prioritize all tasks I have asked of her to get information out to the community.
